Greathomes.org is a service provided to the general public by the real estate professionals that are members of the Bay Area Real Estate Information Services, Inc. (BAREIS), a Multiple Listing Service.

BAREIS is committed to protecting your privacy. Greathomes is a general audience Web site, intended for users of all ages. The site was designed to help the general public search for and find real estate for sale in Northern California, and help direct the general public to the real estate professionals that represent properties for sale in Northern California.

The sellers of the properties have granted permission through the listing agreement with the real estate professional representing them to list their property on the Multiple Listing Service, and to post the information to Internet sites supported by BAREIS. Some sellers have requested the address of their property not be displayed.

Other services linked to from this Web site (Broker Web Sites, Virtual Tours, the sites of advertisers, etc.) have their own privacy statements which can be viewed by clicking on their sites. BAREIS is not responsible for the privacy practices of sites other than Greathomes.org.

Collection and use of your Personal Information

BAREIS does not require that you register, submit any personal information, or create a login to use Greathomes.org. BAREIS does not collect any personal information from you resulting from your use of (or session) on Greathomes.org. BAREIS does not sell any of the data posted to its database to any third parties. However, BAREIS retains the right to, and may disclose, transfer, sell or assign information posted on this Web site or otherwise obtained to third parties for any purpose, including as a result of a sale, merger, consolidation, change in control, transfer of substantial assets, reorganization or liquidation of BAREIS. Database Information

Greathomes.org generally removes properties listed for sale after they are sold, expire or withdrawn from the database. Historical property listing data which is aggregated into non-property specific statistical information may be made available to the media and other interested parties for proper purposes. BAREIS does not sell or permit publication of its historical comparable sales database. Access to this information is strictly limited to real estate professionals that are Members of BAREIS and BAREIS Members are prohibited from selling or granting unauthorized access to the database by the Rules and Regulations of the Multiple Listing Service.

Use of Cookies

"Cookies" are used in the Internet to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Greathomes.org does not currently issue cookies.
